AI collision estimating, grounded in what carriers paid
Plenty of AI can look at a dent. The hard part is writing the estimate a carrier will actually pay, and that takes data from real claims, not a demo set.
Photos in, estimate out
Photograph the damage and give it the VIN. The AI reads which panels are hit and how badly, decides repair or replace, adds refinish and the access work behind the damage, finds the parts and prices the whole job. You review it, change anything, and send it.
What it is checked against
Every estimate is grounded in carrier documents read line by line: 9,958 line items, 4,363 carrier-paid part lines and 1,208 repair-or-replace decisions across 20 panels. When a carrier already paid for a part by number, that price is what the estimate starts from.
- 2,614 settled part lines carrying an OEM part number
- 8,568 factory part numbers with list prices
- Measured refinish hours and paint and materials rates by carrier
It gets sharper with every carrier estimate
When the carrier’s estimate comes back on a car it wrote, the two are compared line by line and the difference goes back into the estimator. The more shops use it, the closer the next first write starts.

Your estimator stays in charge
It removes the blank screen, not the estimator. Anything the model is not confident about is dropped before you see it, every line is editable, and hidden damage found at teardown goes on the supplement like it always has.
Before you ask
How accurate is AI collision estimating?
Tested in public against Progressive’s own estimates of record: from photographs alone it landed within 1.2% on a 2023 Nissan Versa and 3.4% on a 2019 Nissan Rogue Sport, and all 31 cars are published at /measured/accuracy.
Can AI find hidden damage from photos?
No system can see behind a panel from a photograph. It writes everything the photos show, and teardown finds the rest, which is what the supplement is for.
How long does an AI estimate take?
A few minutes of capture at the car, and the estimate comes back while you are still standing there.
