The rate is where the money goes
A repair written at the shop’s posted rate and the same repair written at the carrier’s rate are different numbers for identical work. The measured corpus puts both refinish and body at 2.1–2.5× against the shop's posted rate, and the product prices the same job across several profiles so the difference is visible before the estimate goes out.
